Our last home game saw a return to the starting line up for Chris Willmott. Chris has been sidelined with a knee injury for almost a year but was back in action against Woking and, even better, suffered no reaction afterwards. The experienced centre-half is now looking forward to Saturday's game at Ebbsfleet

"It felt good to be back. It has been a long tough time for me. A first start of the season is what I have been striving for and to get through ninety minutes and have no reaction was exactly what I needed.

"It has been a very difficult time. I came back before Christmas last year and still had a few problems. It wasn't quite right and I never got to full fitness because the pain was still there. One day I just said 'I can't really get through this any more' and we decided it needed an operation. I owe a lot to Neil Sullivan for his work behind the scenes with me . He contacted some great people, found a surgeon in London who was able to do the surgery required in February and we have worked very hard ever since to get to this stage."

"I have only ever had two injuries really, but they have been two of the biggest ones you can get. I did the same injury to my other knee a lot earlier in my career. But that is fine and gives me no problem and hopefully this knee will be the same now. I'm just looking to keep my place in the team now."

Chris's return saw a clean sheet against Woking, but a 0-0 draw wasn't quite what was required:

"We kept a clean sheet on Monday but we were still frustrated that we hadn't played to our full potential. We got away with a couple of things and Jake did well in goal. We got a draw but in the home games you want to create more chances and win convincingly. Hopefully we can make up for that and get an away  win on Saturday"
