Billy Turley was very impressed by his understudy Sam Warrell last night. The young keeper made his debut at Tonbridge and the watching Turley told Yellow World:

"Sam did everything that was asked of him very well. He got a good touch of the ball early on, kicked very well and settled quickly. The defence protected him but he still got hit a couple of times. But he carried on and is a big strong lad. He made a great double save in the second half and it's a shame that save couldn't have been the turning point and contributed to a better result."

There was a new role for Billy  last night when he turned radio summariser. Billy was out of action with a shoulder problem, but stepped up to help BBC Oxford with their match commentary. It wasn't exactly glamorous as technical problems gave the commentary team a new vantage point, as Billy explains:

"It took a while to thaw out but I enjoyed it. It's nice to see the game from a different perspective. I think I can be the next Jamie Redknapp, although I don't think Jamie would have sat on top of a car roof to commentate! He's not as good looking either."

More importantly, how long before Bily is available again?

"It is still very sore. I did it in the first five minutes against Tonbridge but the adrenaline gets you through the game. But the next day it was very sore and I couldn't really move it. Hopefully it will be Ok for Saturday though"
