Fish farmed out
Young striker Alex Fisher has joined Brackley Town on work experience.
The 17 year old scholar has made a big impression during his first year at United, starting one match and coming on as a sub 12 times, and netting his first senior goal against Altrincham.
He joins Brackley on a similar arrangement which has seen fellow youngsters Matt Taylor and Aaron Posey playing at Abingdon and Ben Spilman at Kidlington. Manager Darren Patterson told us:
"It's a good chance to get games at a good level. Alex has done ever so well all season and scored lots of goals for the youth team and this gives him games in a more physical league."
There are plenty of familiar faces for Fisher to link up with. Manager David Oldfield can call on ex-Oxford players Richard Knight, Tom Winters and Dave Savage in the squad to play at home to Bromsgrove Rovers on Saturday
