Alex Jeannin has gone on trial at Mansfield Town.

The French left back has fallen out of favour at the U's and rarely featured during pre-season but gets a chance to impress new Mansfield boss Billy McEwan as the Stags play against Ilkeston and then Derby County in the next few days.

The former Exeter and Hereford defender is likely  play a part in Mansfield's game at Ilkeston tonight.
