Striker Craig Reid has left The U's after his trial period.

The former Cheltenham striker has appeared in several of United's pre-season games but will not be offered terms at the club and will not be involved in tonight's friendly against Wycombe Wanderers.

Boss Darren Patterson said:

"Craig is a good technical player and has been good to work with but he's not quite what we are after at the moment and he has the chance of a more definite offer at another club so he leaves with our blessing and we hope it works out for him"
