Midfielder Rob Davies and striker Michael Husbands have both left the U's

Former Wrexham and West Brom midfielder Davies was on an extended trial contract which expired at the end of August, and has been told he will not be offered a deal beyond that. Much travelled striker Husbands was with the club on non-contract forms.

Davies made one start for the club, away at Barrow, while Husbands made two sub appearances.

Boss Darren Patterson said:

"They are both great lads and we hope they get themselves sorted out with clubs but they weren't quite what we were looking for here. We wish them well for the future."
