United should be able to call on the services of Barry Quinn and Craig McAllister as they welcome Farsley Celtic in the Blue Square Premier tomorrow afternoon (3pm).

Captain Quinn and scorer McAllister both hobbled away from Torquay on Tuesday night but have responded well to treatment and boss Darren Patterson believes both should be fit and available for the final home Saturday game of the season:

"Macca and  Quinny were both scheduled to train today. They had a few stitches after Tuesday but both are Ok and if they need an injection or something then they're not the sort of injuries which will keep them out. They are both desperate to play. Saturday is also a day when I might make one or two changes. I think that between now and the end of the season might be a chance to look at one or two of the squad members whose contracts are up. Everyone will be involved in the last few games."

Luke Foster is available despite a tenth booking of the season. The defender misses Tuesday's trip to York and the following Saturday's game at Woking.

The Opposition

Farsley have given it everything they have this season and are currently winning their fight against relegation back to the Blue Square North. A home defeat against Droylsden on Tuesday was a set back but they remain two points clear of danger.

There are two players and three familiar faces among their ranks. Big Georges Santos spent a short spell on loan at The U's last season and is now at the heart of the Celtic defence, and he is joined by Scott McNiven. Scott played over a hundred times for United and is now reunited with his twin brother David for the first time since they were kids at Oldham in the 1990s. (see, twins, so it's two players but there are three familiar faces. You see? That's clever. Honest)

The game at the Throstle Nest earlier in t e season ended up 1-0 to The U's thanks to a Phil Trainer strike.
